For customers outside the Europe, please follow the instructions below on what to write on the package so the UK customs don't charge us import duty and taxes. If you do not follow this procedure and bhi are charged customs fees for the repaired item entering the UK we reserve the right to pass these customs charges onto you with the repair costs.
For Returns and repairs from outside the Europe, clearly mark the package(s) and accompanying Customs declaration with the following and put the value at 15GBP, stating that the goods are being returned faulty.
The standard bhi repair charge is £35 excl' VAT plus postage and packing if the product is not beyond economical repair. If the product is deemed beyond economical repair then we will advise you of this. All repaired products are returned with 3 months warranty from the date of the repair if outside the standard 12 months guarantee, otherwise your original warranty applies. If your product is still within warranty and the fault was caused by a failed component then there will be no charge for the repair.
When returning product to bhi, please put a note in with the repair which should include the following: Your RMA number (if applicable), name, address, telephone number and description of fault. If your product is still under warranty, then please supply a copy of the sales receipt, or rough date and where the goods were purchased (we can usually confirm whether the unit is still under warranty).
Acceptable payment methods are Visa, MasterCard, PayPal or bank transfer.
